Ola Billmont

Street photography with a twist - Street photographer Ola Billmont looks for human presence and humor all over the world. Acclaimed photographer didn't really take his photography seriously until he was almost 50 years old. But as a former professional poker player and entrepreneur, Billmont is always willing to take a calculated risk. Billlmont’s breakthrough came with the book A Day at the Races (2016), portraying one of the world’s most prestigious trotting races. Since then, his photos have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions as well as international photo publications. By using various analog cameras, both medium and large formats, Billmont achieves an almost timeless, yet contemporary, and very personal output in his photography. Billmont travels the backroads around the world, capturing people in their everyday life, often with a twist of humor and scenes bordering on the absurd.
