Hans Strand

Swedish photographer Hans Strand hadn’t picked up a camera well into his 20s, and first tried out professional photography for real at 35 after working as an engineer for roughly ten years. But looking at Strand’s unparalleled landscape photography today, you’d think he never did anything else. Strand’s unique eye for patterns and stories in the untamed and unmanipulated emotions in nature has made sure he is frequently published in international photo and art magazines, and he has won thirteen international awards, including the Hasselblad Master Award in 2008.
