"For this series, I did not set out with a preconceived result in mind. Rather it was a narrow process idea that guided me. The boundary I gave myself was one sheet of paper and whatever I did with that paper was going to be irreversible. Meaning whether I creased it, wrinkled it, or cut it I could not undo it or start over with a new sheet. Once the process started rolling one thing led to another. From flat to shape, plain white to color, convex to concave, horizontal to vertical to diagonal, keeping camera and light intact to record the process." - Frederik Lieberath
