Lennart Nilsson Ingrid Bergman in Paris, 1957
Photography can be about creating relations, making the object feel safe and relaxed around the photographer. Actress Ingrid Bergman and Lennart Nilsson created that special bond of confidence, starting with their first photoshoot in 1950.
In 1957, just after Bergman was awarded an Oscar for her role in Anastasia, Nilsson shot this iconic image of a Hollywood star, seemingly both alone and but at the same time wanting to blend into the Parisian daily life, away from movie premiers, posters, and billboards.
The poster is printed on Galerie Art Matt, 200g, a high-coated matt paper with non-reflective surface and optimal image reproduction, with FSC-certification.
