When New York City shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic and became a ghostly quiet place there were mainly two things that could be heard among the New Yorkers who stayed, the sounds of chirping birds and sirens. Day and night EMT’s were transporting people suffering from COVID-related symptoms to the hospitals. As of August 2021 28,000 people has died from COVID-19 in New York, it’s the deadliest disaster by death toll in the history of the city. Photographed in April 2020 during the global COVID-19 pandemic by NYC based Swedish photographer Charlie Bennet.

The poster is printed on Galerie Art Matt, 200g, a high-coated matt paper with non-reflective surface and optimal image reproduction, with FSC-certification.
